Just wanna check with you guys if anyone knows e most direct and fastest way to get from Kaohsiung to Jiufen?

How to get from Kaohsiung to Jiufen?

Board a HSR train at Zuoying HSR Station (in Kaohsiung) to Taipei. At Taipei Main Station, board a railway train to Rueifang Railway Station and transfer to a Keelung bus outside the station to Jiufen.

Estimated travelling time = 1.5~2 hrs (HSR ride) + 35~55 mins (TRA ride, depending on type of train) + 15~20 mins (bus ride)

Travelling time does not including waiting/transfer time.

oh ok thanks for ur advice! just wondering, cos im planning a kaohsiung-jiufen-taipei trip, the jiufen portion planning to stay one night and the taipei portion i%26#39;ll be going to yehliu. is it more advisable to just head from kaohsiung to taipei, stay in taipei then do a day tour for yehliu(morning) and jiufen(afternoon) instead?
