Help needed!!

Hi all,

I will be travelling to Taiwan on 17-27 March.

I intended to visit Pingshi and from what I have read from the forum, in order to get there, I have to take the train from Ruifang. However, when I was checking the time table and trying to book the train ticket online, it says that the route/train is not valid.

Can anyone help teaching on how can I purchase the ticket for Ruifang to Pingshi?

Thanks alot =)

Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) train schedule: new.twtraffic.com.tw/TWRail_EN/index.aspx

To list the train schedule on the Pinghsi railway branch line.

Select From: Others “Taipei / Rueifang”

To: Others “Ping-hsi Line / Pingsi

Train types: All Types

Click “Query”

Fare: NT$28 Travel time: 35 to 46 mins

TRA train ticket prices: service.tra.gov.tw/tw/ticketprice/excel.aspx

TRA station distances: …tra.gov.tw/tw/CP/11366/mileages-1.aspx

You can purchase the Pingsi one-day pass NT$54 for unlimited train rides for the day along the Pingsi branch line.

Train stations (in sequence) on the Pingsi branch line (Rueifang – Jingtong) are:

Rueifang %26gt; Houtong %26gt; Sandiaoling %26gt; Dahua %26gt; Shifen %26gt; Wanggu %26gt; Lingjiao %26gt; Pingsi %26gt; Jingtong (terminal)

The Pingshi Line is a free-seating train with no booking or purchase of specific seats---thus the ';not valid'; notice. (Tip: The best seats are at the very front, next to the driver. ;-))

Thank you very much taiwanDIY and calicocat for your help (^.^)
