May I know whether it is advisable to purchase bus/mrt ticket for 2 days (like those in Singapore-ezlink card)to enable us to travel on our own. Places to visit will be tamshui/ fisherman%26#39;s wharf, wulai, green lake, lungshan temple, tzu-shih temple-Sanhsia, keelung, yehliu and other night markets. Thank you.

At any MRT station%26#39;s information you can buy easy card-悠遊卡,it%26#39;s NT500,can be use for bus,MRT,Train commuter,and ferry in Damsui.

It%26#39;s refundable and with the card you can get 20 percent low for the fare.

Since U%26#39;ll be travelling by MRT n some buses here n there, buying n using a Youyoucard is good.

When U return the card(s) to any MRT station counter, U%26#39;ll get whatever amount unused + deduction of a penalty of TWD20 for hving each card less than 3 months..

Here are places U listed which will accept payment via EasyCard (悠遊卡 YouyouCard):

• Danshui

1. Bus to Fisherman Wharf

2. Ferry to Pa Li waterfront

• MRT travel

U can do a search in forums for details where EasyCard can be used.

I doubt such info will be helpful in yr case. I%26#39;ll prefer to do this:

Ask the driver. Ask the ticket counter staff. Ask fellow commuters waiting in line..

Btw, when a form of transport accepts EasyCard payment, the EasyCard logo will be well displayed..

IMHO, to have such info like ';where in/out of Taipei can use EasyCard';, even printed out n carried with the traveller will not be helpful.

I find it faster, more practical %26amp; effective to ask whenever I%26#39;m unsure.

Card sensors were installed in Taipei, Keelung, Jongli, Banciao,Wanhua and Shulin. I am not sure but Songshan should also be covered in this. You can check on it.

Remember Reuifang does not have one so cant use it for that sector .
