Bitan-Wulai-Sanxia, and Sanzhi

Can someone please advise if this itinerary is do-able in 1 day?

morning around 10 a.m. - Train to Xindian, visit Bitan

then, take the bus at Xindian station to Wulai, lunch at Wulai, visit waterfall (not doing hotspring). (how long do we need in Wulai to cover waterfall and/or other interesting sights?)

Take bus back to Xindian station, then take train to Xingpu MRT and bus to Sanxia, arriving roughly around 4/5 pm to shop. Would the shops still be open early evening?

Secondly, is anyone familiar with Sanzhi (涓夎姖)? Can anyone recommend anything interesting there? Anyone ever heard of a German beer place there which is supposed to be quite famous? How to get there?

As an aside, is the Shifen Waterfall still closed?
