Hi, I%26#39;m planning to go to Taipei for 5 days 4 nights. Will be travelling MRT and Bus frequently. Is there any transport tickets to recommend rather than purchasing the daily ticket.

Get the Easy Card. It can be used on all MRT and most buses in Taipei. Initial cost is NT500 with part of it (NT100) is a refundable deposit.

Available for sale at all MRT stations:
a) Taipei Pass – Ride the MRT and bus unlimited number of times. One-day, two-day, three-day and five-day pass available at NT$180, NT$310, NT$440 and NT$700 respectively;
b) One-Day Pass – NT$200 (includes refundable deposit of NT$50) Ride the MRT unlimited number of times;
c) Easycard (悠遊卡) – Stored value card NT$500 (Deposit NT$100 Stored value NT$400). 20% discount on fares when using Easycard compared to single trip tickets fares. NT$8 rebate given when transferring between MRT trains and buses within one hour. Balance value and deposit refundable upon return of card in good condition at any MRT station.
