Hair Dryer

a pretty silly question to ask. haha.. but is there hair dryer provided in Royal Castle Hotel? Is it good? as in the strength of the blower...

Hair Dryer

Dunno about the hotel, but in general, strnegth of hair dryer here is weak compared to S%26#39;pore, probably due to diff in voltage? And you can%26#39;t bring your own either, as the electricity here runs on 110V ,unless, of course, u have an adaptor.

Hair Dryer

Welcome to the Taiwan forums, HungryAgnes.

That%26#39;s a real travel thing to know actually. In fact, we were quite surprised when our powered hair dryer (from home) blasted a weak hum in our Taipei hotel stay haha!

Yes, like most Taipei 3-stars hotels, Royal Castle has hair dryer in the rooms.

If U bring along a spare hair dryer for another person%26#39;s use, then it%26#39;ll need an adaptor to connect it between dryer %26amp; hotel power point. Btw yr stuff like handphone/ camera charger etc will need this adaptor too.

U can see it here:

sorry, i saw th pricing already. thanks for ur help! i%26#39;ll be in taiwan fron 24th to 30th.. :D

No worries, Agnes.

Glad U found yr answers.

Do get 2 pcs of the adaptor.

There%26#39;ll usually be at least 2 power points in the hotel room.

U can use one for yr hair dryer, the other for yr other electrical accessory usage.

Enjoy a blast in Taiwan!
