Board Nantou bus from Sun Moon Lake to Puli. Fare: NT$50 Travel time: About 30 mins. The bus will pass in front of Puli Winery before the bus reaches Puli bus station further down the road. Tell the driver you are alighting at Puli Winery (鍩旈噷閰掑巶).

Puli is the hometown of Shaoxing wine. Visitors can try locally produced Shaoxing wine which is known to taste especially good on account of the area鈥檚 clean and sweet water.

There are lots of shaoxing wine and other local products on sale at the stores there. Certainly can buy some and bring back home.
