Holiday in Taiwan

Hi, I%26#39;m planning a trip this Mar 5-11th, 2009 to Taipei.

I%26#39;m planning to go to Hsinchu, Taichung, Hualien, Kaohsiung and Kenting.

Will I be able to cover all these places in 7 days?

Can anyone kindly advise me how to go starting from Taipei to all the places listed above and back to Taipei. What mode of transportation would be the best (do not intend to travel by air).

one needs to spend at least 2-3 days in Kenting, one day trip to the rest of the towns mentioned would be possible but quite hectic and u really can%26#39;t see them all in such a short time, so you would have to target on what u want to see in each place.

Train would be the next best option if one does not want to travel by plane.

You should think about giving up Hsinchu and Taichung this time.
