Taiwan Itinery expert advice needed

Hi All,

Firstly, need to thank the forum for its many helpful threads for which i used to plan my itinery.

Secondly need advice on my itinery (5 Days 4 Nights) to see if its too rushed and which is better (3 versions), thanks.

Only difference betw the 3 are on Sat (2nd day) and Tues (Last).

Tks for the swift reply, appreciate it.

Just as a matter of note, CKS (Tues)should be done within an hour (Just wanna photograph the change of shift).

On Mon, Xin Bei Tou is just passing by esp as the museum is closed on mondays.

Also Taroko full day tour is organised so Sunday should not be a problem.

Personally think ver 2 is not as rushed as ver 1.

Any suggestions to amend the itinery?

For Sat%26#39;s amended itinery, the train ride to Hua Lien should be taken from Rui Fang?

I am guessing that its shorter than from Taipei which is why you suggested so.

Also, i have actually reserved Train tickets from Taipei to Hualien and Hualien to Songshan already.

How do i cancel them if i am changing my itinery?

Read the flwg about Wufenpu:

They are available on Sunday but maybe close earlier after PM 9:00.

Monday is reserved for wholesalers, even though you still can go, but may not get services as good as usual.

So its not advisable to go to Wu Fen Pu on Sun after 9pm or Mondays?

Maybe you can consider to go to Wu Fen Pu on Friday.

After Jiufen you can go back to Taipei, if you don%26#39;t want to miss the night view of Taipei101,but it will be very rushed.

Was thinking of going back to Yang Ming Shan for night scenery after sunset at Danshui (And it might be raining according to weather reports).

Do you think its possible and which night market would be closer to Yang Ming Shan if so, Shilin or Shida?

1. Frankly speaking ,the night scenery of YMS is great,but I don%26#39;t know how you can get there in night.

2.Shilin NM.is closer.

ps:I still think about if you should go back to Taipei or not (after Jiu Fen),coz the trains at Taipei station are better than at Renfan%26#39;s.

Was thinking to go to 文化後山 area to eat.

Exact address is 111 台北市 士林區 東山路25巷81弄99號 .

Searching how to go thou.

Perhaps the same way as i go out, mtr from danshui to xin bei tou then bus 230 or cab in.

Out to Jientan/Shilin will be Bus 260 or Red 5 or cab to nearest mtr i guess. But if not taking cab then i am not sure if the walk down is dangerous or not.
