Anybody else hv recommendation for Taipei most popular disco club?

I think Room18 or Primos should be among the Top 3 in taipei :)

Luxy (http://www.luxy-taipei.com) will have a huge drum %26amp; bass party with LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad on Friday the 27th - that will definitely be happening.

Primo (www.club-primo.com) is really really busy on Fridays too with their Xclusive party - you need an invite to get in so I%26#39;d recommend contacting the promoter on the Facebook page - www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php鈥?/a>

If you want to find Taipei%26#39;s best hidden secret I suggest going to Sappho on Saturday night (http://www.sappho102.biz). It%26#39;s a jazz bar, but has blues or alternative bands on Saturdays, and has a really laid-back, friendly vibe. (This is where the Brown Sugar musicians go after work). This Saturday they will have a really cool Taiwanese band that kinda pattern themselves after Jamiroquai. Things usually start late, so 11-12:00 would be a good time to go.

I%26#39;m not PR for any of these places, trust me - the first two are the biggest and already well-known and I just really like the party they have going at Sappho.

For good Salsa party, you picked the right place and night by going to Brown Sugar on Sunday. I wouldn%26#39;t reccommend Hips if you happen to see an ad - it%26#39;s fun for teenagers who only want to pay 500NT for all-you-can drink really bad drinks.

Ty so much for your info! I would try my best to give detailed field report when I%26#39;m back but 12 days in Taiwan would take me very long to summarise it here. LOL!

I%26#39;ve decided to go Brown Sugar for Salsa on Sunday (8th March).

As for Friday (6th March), I%26#39;m going to Room 18 but won%26#39;t mind club hopping if it%26#39;s not fun. Can you advise if Room 18, Primos, Luxy is nearby?

How can I go to Primos if they always hv Xclusive party on Friday? The link you gave me is for 27th Feb party.

The same party is every Friday at Primo so contact the admin through the Facebook event page - it will send you to Liquid Lifestyle%26#39;s facebook page and you can send a note to the admin there explaining your situation. The event page will be updated to March 6th next week. All the clubs are quite close to each other but still need to take a 5min taxi.

Luxi is on Chunghsiao E Rd, Sec4 and Primo is on Sec 5 - Room 18 is basically in between.

Room 18 is part of an entertainment complex so you should %26#39;warm-up%26#39; at Barcode on the 5th floor first. If you get a few drinks there, you can ask for a stamp for 18 which is in the basement.
