Taipei to Taichung *Feng qiao night market*

Hi,

I goin to taipei next wed 23/01-29/01..

I am travelling out from Taipei XMD to Taichung, Feng Jiao night market..

By HSR (High Speed Rail)

What is the direction, price, exits, to take to go there? What time FJ market opened %26amp; close?

If i spent there 1 night, issit enough? Wat else is nice in taichung?

I planned to stay there for only 1 night for my birthday or the next day.. :)

And, any birthday treat for eg foods with discount etc? in Taipei or Taichung..?

Board a southbound HSR train at Taipei Main Station to Taichung (in Wurih – outskirts of Taichung city).

Fare: NT$700 (Standard class) NT$1250 (Business class) Travel time: About 52 mins

Taichung HSR Station is connected to Wurih Railway Station. Board a TRA train at Wurih Railway Station to Taichung Railway Station (in downtown). Fare: NT$9 Travel time: 9 to 11 mins.

Alternatively, board Nantou buses to Taichung downtown. Fare: NT$25 Travel time: About 20 mins

Attractions in Taichung city worth visiting are:

Fengjia night market. Take Renyou bus (仁友客运) to get from Taichung Railway Station to Fengjia night market. Fare: NT$26 Travel time: about 30 mins.

Other are night markets nearer are Yu Tsai and Zhonghua Rd (中華夜市) night markets. Night markets open around dinner time and close around wee hours past midnight.

you must be joking - Cingjing farm - nothing to do at night, no food after 7pm, over built, over rated, no service in hotels, over priced and your description makes it sound a paradise, its a dump

Does anyone know what is the last Renyou bus leaving from Fenjia night market to Taichung Railway station?
