lushan/cingching/taichung

hello taiwan experts, need some help on lushan and cingching here.

please advise how to go from taipei to cingching then cingching to lushan and from lushan to taichung

i m thinking to stay 1 night at cing ching and 1 night in lushan, 2 nights in taichung. is it on the way? or how should i plan this? how far is cing ching from lushan...

we would like to take it slow.. so i am wondering if 1 night in cingching is sufficient?

its our anniversary(1st year!!) and would like some nice romantic suggestions for accomodations for cingching and lushan too...

At Lushan hot spring, board a Nantou bus to Puli. Fare: NT$94 Travel time: About 1 hr 15 mins.

At Puli, board another Nantou bus or Chuan Hang bus to Taichung. Fare: About NT$150 (to Taichung HSR Station or Railway Station is the same price)

Travel time: 1 hr 15 mins (Puli to Taichung HSR Station in Wurih)

Travel time: 1 hr 35 mins (Puli to Taichung Railway Station)

i am thinking to stay for 2 nights at the cing jing farm now.. anyone can recommend any places to stay who offer tours for nearby: lushan, lishan etc......

Some Cingjing accommodation packages have complimentary hot spring vouchers and transport to the nearby Lushan hot springs (Lushan Yuchi [廬山玉池] and Lushan Minglu [廬山名廬] hot springs) included. Check with the owner of your accommodation in Cingjing.

i will be travelling from taipei- cingjing-taichung...also should i stay 2 nights in cingjing or one in cingjing and the other in sml/lushan/? is it on the way back to taichung? i should be taking the taiwan tourbus as recommended ...

You can call to make a reservation when you have decided on which place to stay for the night.

If you are coming from Taichung, go to Puli first. Puli, home of Shaoxing wine, is a town enroute to many places of attractions including Sun Moon Lake, Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village, Cingjing Farm, Lushan Hot Spring and Hohuan Shan.

Heading East of Puli (about 40 mins’ bus ride) you will reach Wu-she. Proceeding a further 20 mins’ bus ride you will reach Cingjing Farm. Lushan Hot Spring is about 30 mins’ bus ride from Wu-she, using a different route.

Heading South of Puli (about 30 mins%26#39; bus ride) you will reach Sun Moon Lake and the nearby Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village.
