Ximending to YMS

Hi, does anyone know whether is there any bus from Ximending going to YMS or is it still better take bus from Jiantan MRT to YMS?

Ximending to YMS

To get to Yang Ming Shan, board bus 260 from bus stop outside Ximen MRT Station exit 3. Fare: NT$30 Travel time: About 1 hr 10 mins.

You can also board bus Red 5, 260 from outside Jiantan or Shihlin MRT Stations. Bus Red 5 serves the route between Jiantan MRT Station and Yang Ming Shan. The bus journey takes about 45~50 mins. Alternatively, board a MRT train to Beitou or Xinbeitou Station and transfer to bus 230 heading to Yang Ming Shan. Use stored value Easycard to pay MRT / bus fares.

Ximending to YMS

Thanks a lot. If I take bus 260 from Ximending then which stop should I alight to reach YMS National Park and Zhuzhihu?

Oh sorry I forgotten to ask can Easycard be used on both Red 5 %26amp; bus 260?

Alight at the last stop -- Yang Ming Shan bus terminal. You can use Easycard for rides on bus Red 5 and 260 which both terminate at Yang Ming Shan bus terminal.

Yang Ming Shan leisure bus 108 is a one-way circle route that serves all the main attractions on Yangmingshan: Yangmingshan Bus Station → Visitor Information Center→ Yangminshuwu → Xiaoyoukeng → Lengshuikeng Service Center → Qingtiangang → Lengshuikeng Service Center → Songyuan Stop → Jyuansi Waterfalls → Yangmingshan Bus Station. 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Weekdays: Every 30 minutes, Weekends/Holidays: Every 8-9 minutes.

Consider purchasing one-day bus pass NT$60, a coupon for unlimited bus rides on Yang Ming Shan leisure shuttle bus 108. It is available for sale at a small office at the Yang Ming Shan bus terminal.

Zhuzhihu (sea of Calla Lilies) is a 30 mins’ walk from the nearest bus stop of bus 108 route.

May I know which stop to alight when I take leisure bus 108 to go Zhuzhihu?

Alight at “Zhuzhihu” stop, the next stop after ';Yangminshuwu'; stop. “Zhuzhihu” stop is between ';Yangminshuwu'; and ';Xiaoyoukeng'; stops on the leisure bus 108 route if you are going to Zhuzhihu calla lily farms by bus 108. Be prepared to walk about 30 mins into a side road at a T-junction near “Zhuzhihu” stop.

Mini bus S9 brings you nearer to Zhuzhihu. Board mini bus S9 at Beitou or Xinbeitou MRT Stations. Bus journey takes about 35~40 mins.

Yes, you can board bus 230 at Yang Ming Shan back to Beitou or Xinbeitou.
