Hi all,
What%26#39;s the best time to set off considering all the travelling time to like maybe 5 places a day?
If going to watch the Martyr%26#39;s Shrine Guard changing ceremony, what is the best time to be at the place in the morning?
The weather coldness in taipei during april is it the same like in genting highland? Wearing Bermuda and sandals ok?
Best time to set off everyday?
Hi.
For weekdays, i suggest set off after 9am (or at least after 8:30) if taking metro, bus, or local train(鍗€闁?. Also, try to avoid taking public tramsports during 5 to 6:30pm.
It depends on where u are traveling around. If inside the city, it may be ok to wear like that. For Banciou, Keelung, Tamshui, or other places in TPE county, there might be cool winds in the evening.
Also remeber, April is the rain season. Might be cool sometimes when it rains. Won%26#39;t be cold, though.
Best time to set off everyday?
Welcome to the forums, Iluvholiday.
Technically, I%26#39;ll second Serena%26#39;s good suggestion to set off before 9am. :-)
But realistically on a tour, I really thought a good answer will be:
Q: What%26#39;s the best time to set off..?
A: After U%26#39;ve got enough rest n all recharged.
That will mean before lunch for some. A time after breakfast in hotel, for others..
When one%26#39;s in the thick of touring, one may only then really appreciate this as the answer.. U really need lots of rest the night before. Then a morning well-rested n energized to start the day.
Hope this helps. Hv yr fun in Taiwan!

SerenaTW and TaiwanAlive,
Thanks for the tips!
At least have an idea of the timing to set off and what to pack in my lugguage..hee.
So far for my planning is to set off early and rest early.;p
I love cooling weather and will be bringing poncho and umbrella too in case.
So excited...11 more days!
ILuvholiday,
U%26#39;re welcome. It encourages me to put in more efforts in these forums whenever a forumer displayed a good response to advice. :-)
I see U%26#39;re well-prepared. If U%26#39;re travelling alone or with a bunch of frens, then setting off early n resting early is a great way to cover more places/ activities in each touring day.
For families n travellers (like my wife %26amp; I) in our 30s, we tend to leave hotel just before lunch n try to cover places in depth. Thus visiting fewer places in a day.
Hv great fun in Taiwan!
TA :-)
